Ford 400m to 460 starter interchange?

I have swapped in a 460 in place of the 400 modified in my 78 Bronco. The swap is nearly complete but I need to lmow if the starter from the 400 will work with the 460. Please do not answer if you are not positive. I do not want to tear up the flexplate
