What are some ideas for my race car design?

I race a dirt modified in eastern Oklahoma and I'm needing some tips/ideas on how to design my race car (colors, graphics, etc). I'm Native American and kinda want to design something thats close to that but any good idea will work. Anyone have any ideas?

a slight change of a standard style
some cars might have a traditional style of flames
exchange the flame licks with eagle feathers
maybe instead of a checkered fade
use a design from your culture in a fade line
