Why have Toyota stopped producing/selling sporty type cars in UK ?

I always like the MR2, the Celica and the Supra.... and had my mind on eventually getting a sporty type from Toyota.

Now it seems they only make/sell family type cars, the eco Prius, a couple of executive types, jeep type and work vehicles


There is a new Supra due to be released soon, it will have the same running gear as the big Lexus, V6 petrol engine and electric hybrid technology aswell. A friend of mine has just been on a Toyota training course and said if it comes out, it will be
