What cars do professional race car drivers drive at home?

I remember Jackie Stewart used to do Ford Taurus commercials but you'd think that people who are so used to high performance automobiles wouldn't be able to stand normal family sedans. Anybody know what some of the well-known pros drive on a daily basis?
