When will the $7500 electric car federal tax credit expire?

I am seriously thinking of getting a Nissan Leaf but I have a few questions.
1. Is there a time expiration,
2. Is it limited to the first x number of people?
3. I live in California so I have the same questions about the $5000

2014 or 200,000 vehicles sold by the manufacturer.

Congratulations on being so rich as to owe $7500 in income taxes. If you don't pay that much in income tax, you don't get the full credit. Year of purchase only. In other posts you said
