Why would my rear brake pads wear out before the front on my Volkswagen? Am I being lied to?
I took my 2006 Volkswagen Jetta into the dealership for routine maintenance (30k mile service) and the service guy said I only had 1mm of rear brake pad left before I start damaging the rotors. Knowing that front brake pads wear out before rear ones on
Yes, it's a scam. The tough economy effects almost everyones better judgement, but some people are just greedy. Your fronts always wear first...its what the inertia of stopping does...I wouldnt even consider the rears going until 55-75000 miles. Now go
