How do I find out if I have a Ford 9 inch rear end??

I have 2 ford pickups a 75 and a 76 I was wondering how you tell if the is a 9 inch rear end in them... I'm scrapping out the trucks and want to sell them if they are

its very easy to tell a 9" from the 8.8". if the rear end has a rear cover it's not a 9". 9" rear ends only load from the front and do not have rear inspection plates.
