Would the need for a serpantine belt tensioner cause a 94 Blazer to not start from time to time?
On Monday of last week I had difficulty starting my vehicle; this occurred again on Tuesday of this week. I had driven the car numerous times inbetween these two occurances. When I went to my mechanic he noticed right off that I need to repalce my serpantine
the only thing a bad tensioner would do is cause the serpentine belt to slip some and that in turn would not let the alternator charge the battery properly and your battery would eventually die but to cause the engine not to start other than a dead battery
