1999 Chevy Prizm. Check engine light came on so I decided to change the plugs. Found oil on bottom of 3 plugs.?

There was oil on bottom of 3 plugs (ouch). I can't imagine its a ring problem, or a valve problem? Could this be a head gasket? The car has over 160,000 miles and has been burning oil for some time now. Is it even worth fixing? Or is a replacement engine
probably valve guide seals if you find the right person the head does not have to come of to install the seals .check or replace air cleaner , if an engine cannot get air it will pull oil down the guides .why did you think the plugs caused the light to
