If i update my navigation disc on my 2002 Lexus SC 430, will it increase the map resolution?

I currently own a 2002 Lexus SC 430 and am thinking about updating my navigation disc so i have updated roads, POIs, etc . . . But i was wondering if it will better the resolution of the map and menu's. Also will it update to the newer menu's as seen

No. It will only update the maps, new roads (if any) and points of interest. Your firmware will stay the same, so no new menu's. Also, resolution is a characteristic of the screen they used and it's firmware, not the software.
