How can you open a Lotus Notes nsf file in Outlook 2007 (or convert) for free?

I have moved (TUPE) from a company that used Lotus Notes 8 to another company that uses MS Outlook. I have taken a copy of the nsf file and naively assumed it would be easy to convert or open the file in MS Outlook.

I do not have Lotus

You will not be able to open an NSF file in anything other than Lotus Notes. In fact, most nsf to pst conversion tools require that both Notes and Outlook be installed.
