2001 Ranger 3.0L charging system Px?
A week ago I started noticing large swings on the ammeter when passing. Five days ago the AutoZone charging test showed no Px at idle or 2500rpm. Today the ammeter started low & got lower. The engine died electrically before completeing an 18mi trip.
you need to replace the alternator on it that's the only way to repair it,when they start doing that this means the alternator is bad,the only other thing that will cause this is a very bad connection to the battery.if the cables are badly corroded clean
