My bf's 1995 VW Golf turns off during random times, it usually happens when he slows down. We also have the problem that now when he turns the car we can hear rattling like if metal is banging against metal. Can someone please give me an idea of what

As for the fender try calling this place. L@T Enterprises at 610-264-9191. Its a VW and Audi salvage yard. The rattle might be an alxe starting to go bad. If it only does it while turning one direction thats a good sign it is. As for the ramdom stalling
