what is wrong with my 99 malibu? Please please help.?

I have a 99 malibu, 3100 v6. The car will sputter and die going down the road. Seems to get worse the longer you drive it, but occasionally will run terrible from the first crank in the morning. The problem happens everday, but is sparatic. The car normally

There may be a fuse blown. Sometimes people pull the fuse to stop the odemeter, not realizing that it will also screw up your tranny shifting etc...... sorry cant think of anything else without actualy experiencing it in person.
