I have an 1987 ford F25o 3/4 tn truck , I put a new alternator on it cause I thought it was bad, still th same. When I check the the battery while its running Im getting 13.5 volts ?? Now while its running if I remove both pos and neg battery terminals
The battery is almost dead and just drawing a lot of charging current. Drive it for a while and the voltage will be back up.

QUEBEC CITY, Que. -Toyota sees the mid-size truck industry as a major opportunity now that Ford has announced the death of Ranger, so it has come to the game with a refreshed Tacoma for 2012 with upgraded styling, more standard equipment, updated option packages and lower pricing.
Tacoma is offered in Access Cab and Double Cab versions with 2.7-litre four-cylinder engine (in 2WD or 4WD) or 4.0-litre V6 with 4WD. Four cylinder models offer either five-speed manual or four-speed automatic transmissions while V6 models can be hooked up to either six-speed manuals or five-speed automatics.
The truck's face gets a new grille, headlights, hood and bumpers. Inside there's a new steering wheel and folding rear-seat head restraints. The box has two additional cargo tie-down hooks.
A 4X4 Double Cab with V6 and five-speed automatic has all the new standards from new audio system, Bluetooth, steering wheel audio controls, bigger control knobs and sliding rear privacy glass. An SR5 power package adds engine oil cooler, beefier alternator and Class IV trailer hitch. It's just small enough to handle the traffic in tight Old Town thoroughfares easily. While the steering is a tad numb on-centre, it's not enough to be annoying. Throttle tip-in is firm but linear and the transmission works smoothly through its gearing.
